We’re shortly going on what looks like a great road trip: Colorado, Nebraska, Wyoming, Montana, Utah and back to Colorado.

Of course, one part of the fantasy is to have lots of great American music to while away the hours on the highways. Here’s the first stab at CDs to take. What else should we take?

Dylan has one more week with the plastic hat on. By and large, she’s
doing remarkably well. She’s stoic and doesn’t complain even though
everything must be frustrating and bewildering.

This sunny Sunday morning is a treat for both of us. I’m reading a
book and she’s chomping at passing flies.
