It’s the final guffdown – Euroguff day 24

1image
If Guffers are level on points after tonight’s final, then the minute of the first goal will come into play. Below is the distribution of predictions across the potential 0-120 minutes. Quite data beautiful isn’t it. Most people by far think the first goal will be in the opening 45 minutes. Only two guffers think the first goal will be in extra time and one miserly radical thinks it’ll be 0-0 after 120 minutes.

That graph is tiny isn’t it? Here’s a better list

Official app of Euro 2012

“Official apps” are so often terrible. Too many Ts&Cs, rampant sponsors’ messages, navigation designed by committee etc.

Let’s see with this one…

Twitter and Euroguff

One week to go before Euro 2012. There are 30-something players so far and I think that’ll get up to 40 or so with all the bandwagon jumpers glory seekers latecomers.

I think it might be fun to put players in touch via twitter. I don’t know if this’ll work or not, but here are some useful links:

A list of all Euroguff players

Welcome to the Euro 2012 prediction game

Just over a week to go, and I’m thinking about how best to run the game and get interaction going between the players.

There is a hashtag, #euroguff, but I thought I’d experiment with a group blog. This way, when I update the results and send out my usual nonsense, it will appear on this website and you’ll be able to contribute/post too.

More later.
